Hola Nando!

After a long day of "will he, won't he" and "he's on a helicopter en route to Cobham; no he's still at Melwood" and worries that any possible deal may hinge on Liverpool signing a replacement (with Newcastle not looking likely to accept their bid for Carroll), Fernando "El Nino" Torres finally signed on the dotted line and emerged a Chelsea player. Our new #9 is expected to lead the Blues out of our slump and to finally bring the Champions League trophy home to Stamford Bridge.

With the Blues also signing Brazilian center back David Luiz from Benfica, two problem areas have been addressed, and with Lampard on the road back to full fitness and Petr Cech in fine form things are looking on the up in all areas of the pitch.

First up though, is the tricky away trip to Sunderland, for which our two new additions will be watching from a distance and hoping their arrival spurs on their new team mates to an important win to maintain the buzz around the club.

Thanks, Roman, and welcome Nando and David!
